JOB TITLE : Content Producer JOB BAND : C CONTRACT TYPE : Attachment/Fixed Term Contract until February 2027 LOCATION : Office base is Salford (Hybrid) PROPOSED SALARY RANGE : £33,000 - £45,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

The BBC’s Youth Audiences team is on the hunt for a Content Producer to help bring to life projects in AI, gaming, and social media. This is your chance to be at the cutting edge of digital innovation and connect with 16–24-year-olds through the most exciting platforms out there.

Your Key Responsibilities and Impact What You’ll Do:
Innovate and create : Develop and deliver interactive digital content, from immersive gaming experiences to cutting‑edge generative AI and live video.
Work with major platforms : Partner with emerging platforms to craft innovative experiences that push boundaries.
Lead in gaming : Drive projects on top gaming platforms like Roblox and Fortnite, building on successes such as BBC Wonder Chase and My Eurovision Party 2025.
Innovate in social : Execute bold, creative social media projects such as BBC Creator Lab, a world‑leading social media talent search.
Your Skills and Experience Essential Criteria:
Experience working on social/digital platforms for entertainment content.
Proven track record of executing successful social / digital campaigns.
Passion for gaming and AI, with knowledge of platforms like Roblox and Fortnite.
Adaptability and enthusiasm for new technologies and platforms.
Strong data‑led approach, using analytics tools to inform decisions.
Ability to manage projects with competing deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
Desirable
Expertise in creatively using new technologies (AR filters, gaming, AI) to scale audiences.
Experience working with social media creators, including briefing and content creation.
Competent Photoshop and design skills, as well as video editing.
