Pollock Pines Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned, small-animal practice seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our close-knit, supportive team. We are a non-corporate hospital focused on quality medicine, teamwork, and compassionate patient care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM to 5:00 PM

(Occasional days may extend past closing due to emergencies or longer appointments)

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Pay: $30 per hour for a qualified candidate
• Benefits: Paid holidays

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during exams, procedures, and surgeries
• Perform dental cleanings, dental radiographs, and extractions
• Anesthesia and patient recovery care
• Venipuncture, cystocentesis, catheter placement, injections, and laboratory work
• Registered Veterinary Technician exam responsibilities
• Proper and safe animal restraint (required)
• Client education and accurate medical record keeping

Qualifications

• Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license in California
• Strong technical and patient care skills
• Reliable, team-oriented, and compassionate
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced clinical environment
