Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using our POS (Point of Sale) system Aloha POS.
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations, as well as accept and complete carry-out orders.
• Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and seating preferences to enhance their experience.
• Support the restaurant team by maintaining cleanliness in the host station and waiting areas.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service during busy hours.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a host/host or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous restaurant or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
