Job Description

As the Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations at the store ensuring the team consistently delivers high-quality service and memorable experiences for every guest. You will be responsible for everything from scheduling and inventory to team development and customer satisfaction, while also managing the trailer's schedule and staff.

You Will:

  • Oversee Operations: Manage daily store and trailer operations, including opening and closing, cash handling, inventory management, staffing, and trailer setup.
  • Manage Trailer Schedule and Staff: Develop and manage the schedule for the trailer, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and smooth operations during events, festivals, or other trailer service opportunities.
  • Inspire and Lead Your Team: Motivate and guide team members, creating a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Handle Scheduling: Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet business needs, balancing hours with operational requirements for both store and trailer.
  • Focus on Training and Development: Train new hires and provide ongoing support for team members, encouraging their growth and development.
  • Deliver Excellent Service: Ensure every guest receives a blissful experience from entry to exit, whether in-store or at the trailer.
  • Manage Product Quality: Maintain the quality and presentation of our dough and ice cream products, ensuring they meet company standards.
  • Track Sales Goals: Work to meet and exceed sales targets, implementing strategies to drive revenue and optimize operations.
  • Ensure Compliance: Uphold all food safety standards and company policies.

The Facts:

  • Be On Time: Reliable transportation is crucial, especially when managing the trailer.
  • Food Handler Permit: Required by state or local regulations.
  • Previous Experience: Management experience in food service is highly preferred.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written English skills are required; other languages are a plus.
  • Physical Activity: Expect to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs during your shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Greet every guest with a smile, offer samples, explain the menu, and help them make selections.
  • Order Fulfillment: Scoop cookie dough, prepare ice cream desserts and other menu items.
  • Consistency: Maintain high standards of presentation, ensuring each order looks and tastes amazing.
  • Store and Trailer Cleanliness: Keep your workspace spotless, including both the store and the trailer. You'll be involved in daily cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking.
  • Teamwork: Work alongside fellow Dough Makers to ensure a smooth, efficient shift. Be ready to jump in wherever needed.
  • POS Operation: Handle cash, credit, and digital payments efficiently and accurately.

What to Expect:

You'll be active during your shifts. This might involve standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs). Weather can vary, but we've got gear to help you stay comfortable. Flexibility is key, as you may need to help out in different areas of the shop and the trailer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40, $50,000.00 per year
