Position Overview
The Technical Solutions Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting Bray's growing HVAC business by serving as the primary internal liaison between the outside sales team and key internal stakeholders. This position ensures projects, technical deliverables, and sales processes move smoothly from opportunity to execution. The role requires strong organizational skills, a high level of attention to detail, proactive communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Project Coordination
- Serve as the main internal support resource for the outside HVAC sales team.
- Track and follow up on project-related action items with Purchasing, Scheduling, Inside Sales, Engineering, and SSA/Project Coordination.
- Maintain clear communication between sales and internal teams to ensure customer needs, schedules, and deliverables are aligned and met.
- Coordinate internal workflows to support on-time proposal development and project execution.
- Monitor deadlines, manage task ownership, and keep stakeholders informed of project status.
Technical Support
- Coordinate preparation and delivery of technical documentation including STEP files, submittals, product datasheets, and marketing materials.
- Ensure technical packages are complete, accurate, and compliant with project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Sales to address technical questions and resolve issues promptly.
- Support standardization of documentation processes related to HVAC solutions.
Inside Sales Support
- Assist with costing, quoting, and opportunity management within D365 and Power BI reporting tools.
- Provide administrative and documentation support for customer proposals and presentations.
- Maintain working knowledge of LN ERP and other relevant sales support platforms to ensure efficient order processing and tracking.
Data Support & Reporting
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate opportunity and project data within D365, Power BI, and associated internal systems.
- Generate reports and dashboards to support business analysis, sales performance tracking, and pipeline visibility.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across all platforms used by the HVAC sales team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related field, Preferred (or equivalent professional experience).
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, sales support, technical support, or a related role; Technical and/or industrial market experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with proven attention to detail.
- Experience working with ERP, CRM, and reporting tools (D365, Power BI, LN, or similar systems preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
- Comfort working in a hybrid Houston-based environment.
