Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Warehouse Manager to lead our distribution operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse activities, ensuring seamless coordination of inventory, shipping, receiving, and logistics processes. Your leadership will drive process improvement initiatives, optimize supply chain efficiency, and foster a safety-first environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse team while implementing innovative strategies that enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

  • Follow programs implemented to ensue the efficient and cost-effective operation utilization of the facility
  • Staff planning to avoid excess overtime expenses while balancing agency use to the appropriate needs of the organization
  • Assist with planning for new customer implementations.
  • Deal with performance issues and consult with HR / Management guidance for complex issues
  • Strive for continuous improvements in all facets of warehouse operations;
  • Manage performance reviews, guide employee growth and development;
  • Ensure adequate training of staff.
  • Preparation of department budget, monitors, and controls costs
  • Month-end management reporting with operating KPI
  • Manage and control Inventory accuracy, Shrinkage and Damages
  • Manage Order Fill Rate and Order Accuracy
  • Manage and control Receiving, Put Away, Pick and Loading productivities
  • Ensures the efficient and effective operation of the Warehouse and that all customers' needs are met (both internal and external)
  • Plan with supervisors daily labor requirements and ensure adherence to standards, policies, and productivity goals
  • Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to warehouse personnel
  • Participate in the hiring, training, development, and discipline of warehouse personnel
  • Experience with US Bonded / CFS / Deconsolidation facilities
  • Follow workplace GMP and PIP policies and procedures
  • Responsible for all GMP, PIP & CTPAT documentation, procedures & policies
  • Implement policies and procedures that govern the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Develop and update all warehouse operations SOPs.
  • Drive Health and Safety Program with visible H&S metrics and KPI
  • Drive Continuous Improvement culture with Lean principles and data driven decisions

Experience

  • 5+ years of warehouse management experience
  • Relevant supervisory experiences in managing, coordinating and leading teams are required.
  • 2+ years experience with financial analysis and reporting (managing budgets)

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or Warehouse Management
  • Project Management or Continuous improvement certification is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
