FDS Clinic is a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) outpatient program based in Portland, Oregon. We are seeking a visionary, mission-driven Program Director/Administrator to lead our team.

About the Role

As Assistant Program Director/Admnistrator at FDS Clinic, you will oversee all aspects of our outpatient SUD services, providing strategic and operational leadership to ensure the highest standards of care. You'll be empowered to build a program that makes a real difference in people's lives—while growing a strong, compassionate, and high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and oversight of FDS Clinic's PHP and IOP programs.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, evidence-based clinical services.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards (e.g., CARF, Joint Commission).
  • Hire, mentor, and supervise clinical and support staff; promote a collaborative, professional culture.
  • Develop and refine program policies, procedures, workflows, and treatment protocols.
  • Monitor program performance and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison with payors, referral sources, regulatory bodies, and community partners.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Current and valid licensure in Oregon (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
  • CADC or equivalent SUD certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of clinical experience in substance use treatment or co-occurring disorders.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of leadership or administrative experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Deep understanding of ASAM criteria, trauma-informed care, co-occurring treatment, and group modalities.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and team leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience launching or scaling outpatient behavioral health or SUD programs.
  • Bilingual abilities a plus.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems and outcomes-based care models.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $$65k to $80k/year, based on experience and qualifications.
