We are seeking a Full-Time, Day Shift Housekeeper/Environmental Services Aide to play a vital role in maintaining our high standard of cleanliness and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

What You'll Be Doing: The Heart of the Role

As a Housekeeper/Environmental Services Aide, you are the backbone of our community's comfortable and safe environment. Your daily responsibilities include:

  • Resident and Community Cleanliness: Performing daily cleaning and disinfecting of resident apartments, including making beds, changing linens, and cleaning bathrooms (toilets, tubs, showers, sinks).
  • Common Area Maintenance: Ensuring all public spaces, such as hallways, dining rooms, activity rooms, and public restrooms, are consistently sparkling clean and presentable.
  • Safety & Sanitation: Following all established infection control and safety protocols, properly using and mixing cleaning chemicals, and utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Waste Management: Collecting and disposing of trash and waste from all areas of the community.
  • Maintenance Reporting: Promptly reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or repairs needed in resident rooms or common areas to your supervisor.
  • Customer Service: Interacting with residents, their families, and staff with kindness, respect, and professionalism, contributing to a warm, family-like environment.
What We're Looking For
  • Prior housekeeping, cleaning, or environmental services experience is preferred, but we will provide training for candidates with the right attitude.
  • A strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong self-starter who can manage a daily cleaning schedule effectively.
  • The ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • A compassionate and respectful demeanor when interacting with senior residents, including those with memory impairment.
  • Must be mobile and able to perform the physical demands of the job (standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 40+ lbs).

Mandatory Requirements

To ensure the safety and trust of our residents, all applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Pre-Employment Screening: Must be willing and able to pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug test.
  • Schedule Commitment: Must be able to work every other Saturday & Sunday (required for consistency of care).
  • Other: Dependability, punctuality, and reliable transportation are a must.
