Logistics Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Logistics Manager to lead our supply chain operations and optimize the movement of goods from suppliers to customers. In this pivotal role, you will oversee end-to-end logistics processes, including inventory management, warehouse distribution, transportation and planning. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain management strategies to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.
• Oversee inventory management processes, ensuring accurate inventory control and optimal stock levels across warehouses.
• Manage warehouse distribution activities, including picking & packing, shipping & receiving, and materials handling to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Coordinate transportation management systems (TMS) and transportation planning to optimize freight routes, reduce transit times, and lower transportation costs.
• Supervise warehouse management system (WMS) operations for data analysis and process improvement.
• Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL), and freight carriers to ensure seamless dispatching, freight forwarding, and shipping operations.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives in logistics workflows, including demand planning, packaging optimization, and materials management.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain analytics, demand forecasting, and operations management to identify areas for enhancement.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards for forklift operation, materials handling equipment (CMMS), and warehouse experience protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in supply chain management with a strong understanding of logistics operations across multiple functions such as purchasing, freight forwarding, warehousing, and transportation management systems.
• Demonstrated ability in inventory management, demand planning, and category management within a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with warehouse management system (WMS), ERP platforms and transportation management systems (TMS).
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex logistics data for strategic decision-making.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience managing teams involved in shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, dispatching, fleet management, and materials handling.
• Knowledge of e-commerce logistics processes including order fulfillment and packaging optimization is highly desirable.
• Ability to develop innovative solutions through process improvement initiatives while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
• Language: English mandatory - Spanish is a plus.
