Hotel Maintenance

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to oversee and maintain the operational integrity of our hotel facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in industrial maintenance, electrical and mechanical systems, and have experience working within manufacturing or industrial environments. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of equipment, ensuring safety standards are met, and supporting the overall guest experience through reliable facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, hydraulics, and other building infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, precision measuring instruments, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
• Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software to track maintenance activities and equipment history.
• Conduct welding (including welding) and other fabrication tasks as needed to repair or modify equipment.
• Utilize scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with vendors or field service technicians for specialized repairs or installations.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to high voltage, low voltage systems, and industrial electrician standards.
• Support customer service initiatives by ensuring all hotel facilities operate smoothly to enhance guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in industrial mechanic work, industrial maintenance, or related fields within manufacturing facilities or similar environments.
• Strong electrical experience including knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems; familiarity with schematics is essential.
• Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, welding (including welding), and precision measuring instruments.
• Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, and analysis skills for troubleshooting complex issues.
• Ability to operate scissor lifts and other industrial machinery safely; certification is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of electrical testing tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
• Background in industrial electrician work or military experience related to maintenance is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills in English; customer service orientation is essential for supporting hotel operations.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics and perform analysis for effective maintenance solutions.
• Industrial mechanic experience combined with field service skills will be advantageous for this role.
