Mayvin is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Analyst / FOIA Support Specialist to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ). This role provides critical acquisition-related transparency, records management, and FOIA/Privacy Act processing in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
This position is pending contract award, with an expected start date of January 2026.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have a Public Trust.
Responsibilities:
- Manage responses to incoming FOIA and Privacy Act requests
- Coordinate acquisition-related data/information requests (e.g., Congress, public, stakeholders)
- Propose redactions and prepare responses to appeals, fee waivers, and lawsuits.
- Archive and determine dispositions of case files
- Ensure PII protection and proper record handling
- Alert government to special/controversial requests for proper coordination
- Explain FOIA policies, exemptions, and procedures to stakeholders
- Maintain tracking of requests in government databases and prepare summary reports
- Research, review, and prepare document packages for management review and signature
- Recommend updates to guidance and procedures
- Support process reviews and recommend improvements
- Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited U.S. college or university in business, information management, contracting, law, or a relevant field (preferred). Minimum of 6 years of relevant federal procurement or privacy experience may substitute for a degree
- Minimum of 4 years documented experience as a Procurement Analyst, FOIA Specialist, or Privacy Specialist providing procurement/transparency/regulatory support to a federal agency
- Experience reviewing contract files and other Government documents and developing documentation required to respond to FOIA requests
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FOIA, Privacy Act, and agency-specific policies
- Analytical and organizational skills to resolve complex FOIA issues
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and secure information
- Knowledge of government contract-writing software (e.g., PRISM) preferred
