Schedule: 1st Shift: 6:00am–2:30pm (5×8s)
Location: Trafford, PA

Your Goal
As an Assembler at Cleaveland Price you will be a part of our manufacturing team specializing in the production of electrical disconnect switches. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical components, ensuring product quality, and supporting efficient production operations.
Your Responsibilities
- Assemble disconnect switches and related components according to engineering drawings and quality standards.
- Read blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
- Inspect parts and finished products to verify compliance with specifications.
- Identify and report defective materials or components to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate production records within our internal electronic system.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to company policies.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Inventories tools, parts, and supplies.
- Successfully obtain and maintain crane and fork truck certification in applicable departments.

Qualifications
Your Background
- High School Diploma or GED
- < 1 year of related industry/manufacturing/production experience
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Effectively read a tape measure
- Basic computer skills
Preferred, but not required skills:
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Operate hand and power tools
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to move in and out of out several departments on the shop floor; traverse a ladder; grasp items from different heights; position self to move and retrieve items on the floor or above on a shelf; fine motor skills, transport up to 30 pounds
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Communicate with discern.
- Detect safety alarms that are audible and/or visual.
- Requires concentration, accuracy, and focused mental effort while multi-tasking in a team environment.
- Occasional requirement to drive vehicles such as fork trucks, cherry pickers, and mobile elevated work platform lifts etc.
- Ability to wear standard personal protective equipment (PPE) required while on the shop floor or in other work area where mandated (i.e. steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and/or other applicable PPE).

Cleaveland/Price specializes in the design and manufacture of high voltage disconnect switches and switch automation products. The products that we offer are unique in design, and some include patented features. Products have been developed and tested in accordance with IEEE, ANSI, and NEMA standards for high voltage equipment. They are primarily used by investor-owned and public electric utilities and large industrial operations in substation, distribution, transmission, and generation applications.
All company operations take place in a modern 218,300 sq. ft. multi-site facility situated on 20 acres east of Trafford, PA. The facility houses virtually all resources for product realization, including engineering, supply chain, parts fabrication, electro-mechanical assembly, and testing. Fabrication capabilities include laser and plasma cutting, CNC machining, CNC punching, and automated bending and forming. The company also utilizes specialized processes, such as MIG and TIG welding, friction welding, silver and tin electroplating, and silver brazing.
