Red Crab Boil — Server / Host Job Description

Red Crab Boil is hiring a warm, confident, and guest-driven Server/Host to be the face and heartbeat of our restaurant. If you love seafood, hospitality, and working in a fast-paced team environment, this role is for you.

Role Summary

The Server/Host ensures guests feel welcomed from the moment they walk in, provides attentive table service, and helps maintain smooth front-of-house operations. This role combines greeting/seating guests and delivering exceptional dine-in service.

Key Responsibilities

Host Duties

• Greet guests with enthusiasm and a welcoming attitude

• Manage waitlists, reservations, and seating flow efficiently

• Answer phone calls, assist with take-out orders, and customer questions

• Maintain a clean, inviting lobby and entrance area

Server Duties

• Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system

• Deliver food bags, seafood boils, and beverages promptly

• Refill drinks, check guest satisfaction, and respond to requests

• Process payments and handle transactions correctly

• Keep dining areas clean, stocked, and organized

• Collaborate with kitchen and team members to ensure great service

Job Requirements

• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer-service skills

• Ability to multitask under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Team player with clear communication skills

• Restaurant or hosting experience preferred but not required

• Must be comfortable standing for long periods and carrying trays

• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
