Housekeeper, 32 hours/week

Looking for a reliable housekeeper to work 4 weekdays per week, schedule can be flexible.

Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Summary

As a Housekeeper, you will be essential in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and guests. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task are essential. Main responsibilities include weekly cleaning of resident apartments, common areas, and deep cleaning empty units.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in cleaning and floor/carpet care preferred
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents and staff

Duties

• Provides all areas of cleaning as directed including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sweeping, wiping down and disinfecting.
• Cleans common areas daily ensuring all areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition free of odor and hazard free.
• Cleans resident rooms on a scheduled basis of a minimum of once a week or more often as needed.
• Uses carpet extractor equipment to clean spills, etc. as needed.
• Properly uses all chemical and equipment based on manufacture guidelines, safety standards and training.
• Handles chemicals and equipment to protect residents and staff from injury or exposure.
• Assesses all areas of the facility for hazards and repair needs and reports to supervisor.
• Participates in the facility emergency response plan.
• All other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management personnel.

Weekend/Houseperson Duties

• Clean all bathrooms in common areas (including administrative) and breakroom bathroom.
• Take out all bathroom trash.
• Take out all garbage and recycling.
• Launder kitchen & dining rags, housekeeping rags, kitchen staff and housekeeping uniforms.
• Deliver any resident laundry.
• Vacuum lobby carpet and stairs.
• Vacuum rugs and areas in front of each entrance.
• Vacuum elevators and stairwells.
• Clean breakroom.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.13 per hour
