About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic data team. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that influence decision-making across multiple departments including Product, Engineering, Growth, and Marketing. Your expertise will help tell compelling stories through data, uncover behavioral and operational trends, and support the development of internal AI use cases and guidelines. The position offers a hybrid work schedule for candidates residing within 35 miles of Burlington, NC, or Durham, NC, with a minimum of three in-office days per week to promote collaboration and flexibility. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will lead analytical initiatives, develop dashboards, perform deep-dive analyses, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize user engagement and health outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in data analytics or related fields
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline
  • Advanced SQL skills and proficiency with BI tools such as Looker or Tableau
  • Hands-on experience with modern data stacks including Python, Redshift, or BigQuery
  • Experience working with large, event-driven datasets and behavioral data
  • Proven ability to design, interpret, and analyze A/B tests and experimentation frameworks
  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics concepts such as attribution, LTV, CAC, and retention analysis
  • Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis
  • Experience with AI-enhanced platforms like Copilot or AutoML
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex data into simple, actionable insights

Responsibilities

  • Lead analytical initiatives across product and marketing domains, from hypothesis framing to delivering insights that drive measurable business and health impacts
  • Design, develop, and maintain core dashboards and KPIs to monitor engagement, retention, and conversion throughout the user journey
  • Perform comprehensive deep-dive analyses to identify behavioral trends, growth opportunities, and optimize key funnels such as onboarding and retention
  • Collaborate with data and analytics engineers to ensure data sets are robust, scalable, and accurately modeled for reporting and analysis
  • Develop and standardize reporting frameworks to enable leadership and stakeholders to make evidence-based decisions efficiently
  • Champion data quality and governance by defining trusted metrics, validating data sources, and documenting analytical logic
  • Partner with marketing teams to evaluate campaign performance, test new acquisition channels, and refine targeting strategies
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Leverage AI tools to craft compelling data stories and establish internal AI guardrails for ethical use
