Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cookware are sanitized and ready for use. The ideal candidate will support various kitchen operations, including food preparation and service, while adhering to safety and hygiene standards. Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required. Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently
• Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas as needed
• Support food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or assembling ingredients when required
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
• Support catering events or banquet setups by providing necessary dishware and cleaning services
• Ensure all work areas comply with health and safety regulations at all times
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is a plus but not mandatory
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen setting
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting kitchen operations
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if needed
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads (up to 50 pounds) when necessary
• Basic understanding of food handling safety practices and hygiene standards
