We are looking for precise and efficient individuals to accurately select and prepare customer orders for shipment. This role is instrumental in ensuring timely and correct order fulfillment, a cornerstone of our customer service. As an Order Picker, you will use advanced technology and equipment to navigate the warehouse, locate products, and ensure order accuracy. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. We prioritize a safe working culture, and all employees are expected to adhere to rigorous safety standards and utilize appropriate PPE at all times. This position involves significant physical activity, including repeated lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Verify item accuracy and quantities during the picking process.
- Stage picked orders for quality control and packing.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Meet or exceed daily picking quotas.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues to management.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure correct usage of all required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and scanning technology.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
