Join our growing team in Raleigh, North Carolina, as a Picker/Packer! We are searching for meticulous and efficient individuals to accurately pick items for customer orders and prepare them for shipment. This role is central to our order fulfillment process and ensuring customer satisfaction within our logistics operations. The Picker/Packer will work with a state-of-the-art warehouse management system to locate products, verify quantities, and package them securely. The ideal candidate is organized, possesses excellent attention to detail, and is committed to meeting performance targets in a fast-paced environment. Safety is paramount, and all team members are expected to adhere to strict safety guidelines and use the required PPE. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Meet daily picking and packing performance goals.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Properly use and maintain all required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with order picking and packing procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
