Are you a skilled Forklift Operator looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity in Seattle, Washington? Our state-of-the-art facility is seeking experienced operators to manage the movement of materials within our warehouse. This is a critical role in our logistics chain, ensuring that goods are transported safely and efficiently. You will operate various types of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Accuracy, adherence to safety regulations, and maintaining optimal productivity are paramount. Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse flow and support our overall operational success. Responsibilities include:
- Operating forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
- Moving inventory to and from storage areas, production areas, and shipping docks.
- Stacking and organizing inventory in designated locations.
- Conducting daily inspections of forklift equipment to ensure proper working order and reporting any issues.
- Adhering to all warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
- Proper use and maintenance of required PPE , including hard hats and safety vests.
- Assisting with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Participating in general warehouse duties, including some manual lifting when necessary.
