We're looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our growing team in Tampa, Florida! This role is essential for the efficient operation of our warehouse, focusing on the safe and organized movement of goods. You'll be responsible for handling, storing, and retrieving materials, ensuring inventory accuracy and accessibility. A strong emphasis is placed on workplace Safety, and adherence to all protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. If you possess the physical capability for consistent Lifting and have a proactive approach to warehouse operations, this is a fantastic opportunity within the logistics sector. Responsibilities:
- Transport materials within the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
- Load and unload shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Ensure all materials are handled safely to prevent damage or loss.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
- Comply with all Safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Support team members in achieving operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a Material Handler or similar warehouse position is beneficial.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry for extended periods.
- Ability to handle challenging Lifting tasks, up to 60 lbs.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory principles.
- Commitment to a Safe and secure working environment.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
