Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Use scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Meet productivity targets for picking and packing.
- Responsible for safe lifting techniques and moving stock.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety procedures.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory management principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and using PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
