Job Summary:
We are hiring an Inventory Control Specialist in our Provo, Utah facility! This critical role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for managing inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to optimize stock accuracy. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between system inventory and physical counts.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with warehouse operations teams to resolve inventory-related problems.
  • Manage the returns process and ensure accurate re-stocking or disposition of returned items.
  • Monitor stock levels and report on inventory aging and potential obsolescence.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Assist in the training of new staff on inventory control procedures.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related logistics role.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs periodically.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain principles.
  • Commitment to adhering to safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a busy warehouse environment.
