Join our dynamic logistics team as a Warehouse Technician in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to maintain and repair warehouse equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. Your expertise will be crucial in minimizing downtime and optimizing workflow within our busy distribution center. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for growth and development within the logistics industry. You will be responsible for diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on various pieces of warehouse machinery, including forklifts, conveyor belts, and automated systems. Proactive maintenance and adherence to safety protocols are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all warehouse equipment.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning machinery promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory management of spare parts and supplies.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to identify and address equipment needs.
- Must be able to handle tasks requiring significant Lifting, often exceeding 50 pounds.
- Troubleshoot issues related to electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Commitment to Safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Experience in a fast-paced logistics environment is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
