Join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as an Inventory Control Specialist! In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data. Your duties will include performing regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, analyzing inventory levels, and developing strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage. This position requires a meticulous approach and a strong understanding of inventory management principles. You will work closely with warehouse staff and management to implement effective inventory control procedures. The role also involves using warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and generate reports. A strong emphasis on Safety is expected, including adherence to all warehouse safety protocols and the proper use of PPE. While not primarily a physical role, occasional moderate Lifting may be required. Your analytical skills will be key to identifying trends and recommending improvements to our logistics operations. We are seeking individuals who are detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent problem-solving abilities.
