We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in New York City, New York. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment for our diverse customer base. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets, ensuring the correct quantity and product codes are selected. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols, and utilizing warehouse equipment effectively. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, as you will be working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Attention to detail is paramount to prevent errors in order picking, which can impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will be expected to meet established picking quotas while maintaining high accuracy standards. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times to ensure your well-being. This position involves significant physical activity, including bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Experience with RF scanners or similar warehouse technology is a plus.
