We are hiring an experienced Forklift Operator for our busy distribution center in Durham, North Carolina. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials within the warehouse. You will manage inventory, ensure proper placement of goods, and assist with order fulfillment processes. The ideal candidate possesses a valid forklift certification, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and a commitment to Safety. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to perform physical tasks including Lifting, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on operational excellence and maintaining a secure work setting. We provide a safe working environment and expect all team members to strictly adhere to our safety procedures and utilize the provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Your role is vital in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods through our facility. We are looking for reliable individuals with a proven track record of safe operation. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move palletized loads.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Stack and organize materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform routine checks on forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Follow all Safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed.
