We are hiring dedicated Order Pickers to join our team in Detroit, Michigan! As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in our logistics operations by accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment. You will use state-of-the-art scanning equipment to locate items in our warehouse, ensuring that each order is fulfilled precisely. This role demands efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to safety. All employees are required to use designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strictly follow warehouse safety protocols. The job involves regular physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and frequent lifting of items up to 40 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Verify product information and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Properly use and maintain required PPE.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to supervision.
- Contribute to team goals and operational efficiency.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding and practice of warehouse safety procedures.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Good physical stamina for standing and moving throughout the shift.
- Team player attitude and good communication skills.
