Are you ready for an active role in Miami, Florida? We are hiring Picker/Packers to join our busy fulfillment center! In this essential position, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from inventory and carefully packing them for shipment to our customers. Your speed and accuracy are vital to our logistics success. You'll use scanners and pick lists to gather products, ensuring that the correct items and quantities are selected. Following selection, you will package orders efficiently, using appropriate materials to protect the contents during transit. Our commitment to safety is unwavering; you will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times and follow all established safety procedures. This role involves frequent lifting of items up to 35 pounds, as well as standing, bending, and moving throughout the warehouse. We offer a competitive hourly wage and a vibrant work environment. Responsibilities:
- Retrieve items from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Verify item codes and quantities using a scanner.
- Package orders securely and efficiently.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and warehouse area.
- Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damages.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as needed.
- Meet established picking and packing performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent lifting of up to 35 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work at a fast pace and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Good physical stamina for standing, walking, and bending.
- Team-oriented and reliable.
