Join our thriving logistics team as an Order Picker in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This essential role involves accurately selecting products from our extensive inventory to fulfill customer orders. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves using order forms or RF scanners.
- Verify the items picked against the order details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Package items appropriately for shipment, ensuring they are protected from damage.
- Stage completed orders for pick-up by shipping personnel.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all warehouse protocols.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other lifting aids as needed.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or stock issues to a supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies, including the correct use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is an advantage.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a proactive attitude.
- Willingness to work overtime during peak seasons.
