We are looking for a skilled Material Handler to join our busy warehouse facility in Miami, Florida! This role is fundamental to our operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials throughout the warehouse. You will operate equipment to transport goods, manage inventory locations, and support various warehouse functions. A strong focus on safety , efficiency, and teamwork is essential. This is a key position within our logistics department, ensuring products are in the right place at the right time. Responsibilities include:
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
- Moving raw materials, finished goods, and other inventory items to designated storage areas.
- Organizing and consolidating materials within the warehouse.
- Performing regular inspections of material handling equipment and reporting any maintenance needs.
- Adhering to all warehouse safety rules and regulations.
- Proper use and care of all required PPE , such as safety vests and hard hats.
- Assisting with receiving, put-away, and order picking processes.
- Physical tasks may include some manual lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
