Are you ready to be a key player in a fast-paced logistics environment? We are hiring a Material Handler for our Jacksonville, Florida facility. In this role, you will be responsible for moving, stocking, and retrieving materials within the warehouse. Your ability to manage inventory efficiently and safely is crucial for our operational success. This position requires physical stamina and a strong commitment to workplace Safety, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will work closely with the shipping and receiving departments, ensuring a seamless flow of goods. Responsibilities:
- Operate material handling equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Organize and maintain warehouse stock and supplies.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Ensure materials are handled and stored correctly to prevent damage.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Capacity for Lifting materials up to 60 pounds.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Strong commitment to Safety and following procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
