We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Coordinator for our San Diego, California facility. This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of our warehouse, managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and overseeing daily activities. You will be responsible for optimizing workflow, managing staff, and upholding the highest standards of efficiency, productivity, and Safety . Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse strategies and procedures.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular audits and system updates.
- Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and vendors.
- Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance goals.
- Ensure a high level of operational performance, including order fulfillment rates and on-time shipping.
- Implement and enforce strict Safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and ensure optimal functionality.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements.
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of PPE by all warehouse staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in warehouse management or coordination.
- Proven experience in inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, supply chain principles, and Logistics best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
- Knowledge of safe Lifting practices and an understanding of the physical demands of a warehouse environment.
- Commitment to fostering a strong Safety culture and ensuring proper PPE usage.
