We're seeking energetic Picker/Packers to join our bustling Los Angeles, California logistics facility! This role is the backbone of our order fulfillment process, ensuring that our customers receive their products accurately and on time. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, accurately identifying and retrieving items from inventory using advanced scanning technology, and expertly packaging them for safe shipment. Meticulous attention to detail is key to maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on customer orders and pick lists, using RF scanners.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Package items securely and efficiently, ensuring they are protected for shipping and handling.
- Apply appropriate labels and documentation to packages.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and productivity in order fulfillment.
- Assist in receiving and stocking duties as needed.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of required PPE.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere within the logistics department.
- Previous experience in picking and packing, or a similar warehouse role, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Ability to read and understand pick tickets and product information.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Capacity to work efficiently and maintain pace in a demanding logistics environment.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods, bending, stooping, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of and adherence to workplace safety guidelines and the use of PPE.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
