Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse associates.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff performance.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
- Oversee the operation of warehouse equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate records and generate performance reports.
- Resolve operational issues and employee concerns promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics best practices. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS). Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Strong commitment to workplace safety and ensuring the proper use of PPE. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
