We are looking for a diligent and efficient Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse operations in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and organization from the moment goods arrive. Your responsibilities will include unloading trucks, verifying incoming inventory against purchase orders and packing slips, inspecting goods for damage, and accurately logging all received items into our warehouse management system (WMS). Maintaining a safe and organized receiving area is a top priority, and adherence to all safety regulations and guidelines is essential. You will be expected to utilize appropriate lifting techniques and potentially operate pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified). Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times to ensure a secure working environment. This position is vital to the smooth operation of our logistics chain, ensuring that inventory levels are accurate and readily available for subsequent warehouse processes. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are key to success in this role.
