The Role We're looking for an
Analytics Engineering Manager
to lead our clients analytics engineering function and shape how data is modelled, governed, and used across the business. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and hands‑on delivery, working closely with product, engineering, and commercial teams in a digital advertising environment.
You'll own the analytics engineering roadmap, ensure high‑quality data delivery, and build scalable, trusted data foundations that support reporting, performance measurement, and decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the Analytics Engineering team, owning delivery and prioritisation
Design and evolve ELT pipelines, data models, and warehouse architecture
Ensure reliability and consistency of advertising performance data (impressions, clicks, engagement, delivery)
Partner cross‑functionally to translate business needs into technical solutions
Define and enforce data quality, testing, documentation, and governance standards
Drive automation, observability, and continuous improvement
Remain hands‑on with critical data modelling and pipeline work
What We're Looking For
6+ years' experience in analytics or data engineering, including team leadership
Expert SQL and strong Python skills
Experience with dbt (or similar) and cloud data warehouses (e.g. BigQuery)
Strong understanding of digital advertising data and measurement
Proven ability to own roadmaps, deliver at pace, and communicate with senior stakeholders
