We are looking for an experienced and skilled manager to come and join our Safeguarding, Review and Quality Assurance service as a Principal Manager. Join a dynamic and committed team in Stoke-on-Trent as our new Principal Manager for the Independent Safeguarding and Review Service. This is a pivotal leadership role focused on achieving the very best outcomes for children and their families. You’ll be at the heart of driving forward children’s plans, ensuring that safeguarding remains robust, responsive, and child-centred across all services. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced professional to shape practice, influence strategic direction, and lead with integrity. You’ll work alongside dedicated colleagues who are united by a shared commitment to improving lives and delivering excellence. Drive forward children’s plans. Ensure that safeguarding remains robust, responsive, and child-centred across all services. Shape practice and influence strategic direction. Lead with integrity alongside dedicated colleagues. Qualifications
Experience in a managerial role within social care. Strong understanding of safeguarding practices. Social Work England Registered Professional Social Work qualification or BA Social Work Qualification Management qualification or the ability to work towards one. Required Skills
Leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a team. Extensive knowledge of Child Care legislation and relevant national policies and guidance Preferred Skills
Experience in restorative and relational practice. Knowledge of child-friendly practices. Ability to listen to children and ensure their voices are heard. Pay range and compensation package
