Job Title: Business Analyst (Internal Title: Analyst)
Location: Remote with up to 75% travel to customer sites
Salary: £30,000‑45,000 (depending on experience), plus benefits

How You’ll Make an Impact Your role will cover a wide range of responsibilities. Here are some examples of how you will contribute:
Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring collaboration, clear communication, and alignment to project objectives.
Analyse and document current and future workflows, producing functional specifications and process maps to support EPR implementation.
Facilitate workshops, presentations, and engagement events to gather requirements and drive understanding across clinical and non‑clinical teams.
Support system and integration testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure end‑user sign‑off.
Collaborate with change management and training teams to enable smooth transition, staff engagement, and adoption of new processes.
Identify opportunities for improvement in systems and workflows, recommending and supporting implementation of enhancements.
Prepare high‑quality documentation, reports, and governance materials using Microsoft Office and specialist tools.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in developing and maintaining project documents.
A genuine interest in healthcare and digital transformation.
Experience working within healthcare.
Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills.
Ability to translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights.
Awareness of NHS data governance and information governance principles, including GDPR and Caldicott.
Exposure to project management or change management concepts and tools including Excel and Visio (or equivalent).
Familiarity with NHS structures or digital health policy or transformation programmes.
Understanding clinical workflows and how digital systems support patient care.
Expert process mapping skills and experience, including requirements gathering.
Experience in successfully challenging established working practices and opinions.
Previous NHS experience, including working with clinical staff.
Knowledge of health information systems, particularly EPR’s.
Ability to present complex models for change and project plans at senior trust boards.
Proven experience of undertaking system implementations in an NHS environment.
Experience in producing policy and procedures to implement changes in working practice.
Prior experience of conducting ongoing audits of change programmes, identifying any conflicts or risks and dealing with them effectively.
Proven experience of undertaking change management within the NHS.
Must have the ability to prioritise work in a fast‑changing environment and complete tasks to a high degree of accuracy.
Additional Skills That Set You Apart While not required, these additional strengths will help elevate your impact even further:
Proven track record of successfully delivering Oracle Health (Cerner) and/or Epic EPR system implementations.
Previous experience in consulting roles.
Skills in data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 or FHIR.
Exposure to predictive modelling, forecasting, or KPI development.
Familiarity with NHS digital platforms.
Experience working in a scaling organisation, with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving priorities and structures.
System implementation skills and experience.
