PRN (weekends) - Shift Differential Applicable

About The Role
Quincy Medical Group is seeking a dependable and compassionate PRN Registered Nurse to join our Infusion team, supporting our Walk-In Clinic. In this role, you'll assist with administering IV fluids, injections, and other outpatient therapies. You'll play a key role in helping patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visit, while ensuring safe and efficient treatment delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

• Administer IV fluids, medications, and injections as ordered by providers.
• Monitor patients during and after treatment for any adverse reactions.
• Document care and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Provide patient education and support as part of the treatment process.
• Collaborate with Walk-In Clinic providers and clinical staff to coordinate care.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked infusion areas and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN license required.
• CPR certification required (training available upon hire).
• Previous RN experience preferred; infusion or outpatient care experience is a plus.
• Strong IV skills and clinical judgment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to provide empathetic care and adapt to changing patient needs.
