About us: At our Clinician-owned and operated practice, A World of ABA, we support individuals with a diagnosis of Autism between 18 months and 18 years of age within the triangle region of North Carolina.
Our aim is to empower individuals on the spectrum and their families to reach their full potential through the use of compassionate, and ethical Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. We strive to create a world where our learners are met with compassion and care.
We are seeking a people-first, client-driven Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This role involves developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with families and other professionals to enhance the quality of care for our clients.
Essential Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting clients in home or at the clinic in the triangle regions (e.g., Durham, Chapel Hill, Mebane, Apex, Morrisville, Cary, etc.)
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collect and analyze data to track client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
- Provide training and support to families and caregivers on behavioral interventions and strategies.
- Implementation of behavioral skills training and data collection in the coaching and performance management of RBTs and Behavior Technicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including special education professionals, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including medical records and intake forms.
- Stay current with best practices in behavioral health for client care.
- Completing supervision CEUs that meet the BACB recertification requirements
- Maintaining and completing session and supervision notes, programming procedures and materials, designing and creating intervention materials, and completing all necessary documentation requirements related to reimbursement from insurance companies and for review by families
- Actively participate and engage in team meetings, trainings, and mentorship sessions

Experience
- Minimum of a master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Active Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA or BCBA-D) certification
- OR Active Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCaBA) certification
- Must be in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- 2-3 years of experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency in data collection methods relevant to behavioral therapy.
- Familiarity with client assessment techniques and medical documentation processes.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of confidentiality in patient care.
- Previous experience in special education settings or working directly with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Must demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards children and families,
- A fun and compassionate disposition with an open mind focused on learning and growth
- Ability to lift, bend, squat, push/pull 50 pounds as needed to assist with therapy services

Pay: $75, $90,000.00 per year
