URGENT - Direct Support Professional

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation and activities.
• Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Help clients with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring they can access necessary appointments and social engagements.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medical equipment when necessary.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required by company policies.
• Willing to travel in Long Beach, Redondo, Torrance and Palos Verdes

Experience

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for this role.
• Certification in CPR.
