Remote Biller/Coder

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $21–$30per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities

· Code and bill moderate to high-complexity encounters using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS

· Handle billing for primary care, urgent care, and hospital-based services

· Submit clean claims and follow up to ensure timely reimbursement

· Research and resolve denials, underpayments, and claim rejections

· Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile accounts

· Ensure compliance with CMS, HIPAA, and payer guidelines

· Serve as a subject matter expert for complex billing and coding issues

· Collaborate with providers and leadership to resolve escalated issues

· Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy standards in a remote environment

Qualifications

· 5+ years of medical billing and coding experience

· Experience in primary care, urgent care, and hospital billing

· Advanced knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding

· Experience managing complex claims and appeals

· Proficiency with EHR and billing systems (ECW, Tebra, Point Click)

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

· CPC, CCS, or equivalent certification preferred
