Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and genuine friendliness to create a positive first impression
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times clearly to guests via phone or in person
• Assist guests with seating, answer questions about menu options, and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service and timely seating of guests
• Handle guest inquiries professionally via phone etiquette, resolving concerns promptly to enhance guest relations
• Support overall guest experience by maintaining a clean, welcoming host stand and dining area

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Host/Host or in food service is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Experience working in restaurants or hospitality environments, including hotel guest services, is advantageous
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and handle guest relations effectively
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Professional phone etiquette and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role
