Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Spanish-speaking Nurse Practitioner . In this vital role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through comprehensive assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and tailored treatment plans. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and detailed medical histories.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions by developing personalized treatment plans
• Utilize an EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system for accurate documentation of patient encounters, procedures, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification in Texas
• Proven experience in family practice or IM
• Strong proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or similar platforms; experience with CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9/10 coding is highly desirable.
• Spanish-speaking
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance standards; excellent communication skills for teaching hospital environments or outpatient clinics.
• Additional desirable qualifications include experience with occupational health programs, hospice & palliative medicine practices, post-acute care settings, and working within NCQA standards for quality assurance. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: Up to $150,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
