Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Spanish-speaking Nurse Practitioner . In this vital role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through comprehensive assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and tailored treatment plans. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your extensive clinical skills and passion for healthcare excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and detailed medical histories.
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions by developing personalized treatment plans
  • Utilize an EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system for accurate documentation of patient encounters, procedures, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification in Texas
  • Proven experience in family practice or IM
  • Strong proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or similar platforms; experience with CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9/10 coding is highly desirable.
  • Spanish-speaking
  • Experience working with diverse populations
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance standards; excellent communication skills for teaching hospital environments or outpatient clinics.
  • Additional desirable qualifications include experience with occupational health programs, hospice & palliative medicine practices, post-acute care settings, and working within NCQA standards for quality assurance. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: Up to $150,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
