The
Technical Project Manager
will play a critical role in driving alignment and execution across the
Product, Data, and Development
teams. This role requires strong technical acumen, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously. You'll ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with Savas Software's strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with
Product

teams to plan, prioritize, and execute projects across the full lifecycle. - Define project scopes, timelines, deliverables, and dependencies while proactively managing risks and blockers.
- Translate business requirements into actionable technical plans and track progress against milestones.
- Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clarity and communication.
- Monitor resource allocation, capacity planning, and inter-team dependencies.
- Provide data-driven insights on project performance through dashboards, reports, and metrics.
- Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion within scope and deadlines.
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders, including senior leadership, to provide project updates and gather feedback.
- Monitor project performance metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Identify risks and issues proactively and develop mitigation plans to minimize impact on project outcomes.

This role requires the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes while managing multiple projects with interdependent components. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for aligning priorities, facilitating decision-making, and ensuring transparency across all levels of the organization. Analytical and systems-thinking capabilities enable the manager to anticipate risks, interpret data insights, and connect technical execution to strategic goals. The TPM applies disciplined project planning, risk management, and delivery practices to keep initiatives on track, while continuously optimizing processes to improve team efficiency. Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps, combined with familiarity in software development and data workflows, supports structured planning, tracking, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–6 years of experience as a
Technical Project Manager
or similar role in a software development environment. - Proven success managing cross-functional initiatives involving Product Management, Data Engineering/Analytics, and Software Development.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance technical depth with business understanding — connecting strategic goals to day-to-day execution.
- PMP required
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools to track project outcomes.
- Advanced degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related discipline.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams within large healthcare organizations.
