You must be licensed as a CNA in the state of Colorado and have the ability to work a rotating schedule

OPEN SHIFTS: DAYS
PAY RATE: $ $26.00 / Hour depending on experience
JOB SUMMARY:
A nursing assistant is responsible for providing routine nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures and as may be directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses or Administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times, within their scope of practice.

JOB DUTIES:
Perform all duties as assigned and in accordance with facility's established policies and procedures, nursing care procedures and safety rules and regulations, within the scope of practice of a certified nursing assistant.

Certified Nursing Assistant, or Certified Nursing Aide, is responsible for supporting medical staff in administering care to patients with various injuries, illnesses and disabilities. Their duties include helping patients bathe and maintain proper hygiene, feeding patients, providing continence care when needed, and assessing their patients' vital signs to notify staff of any changes and assist in maintaining a clean, homelike environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be possess a license as a certified nursing assistant
  • Must possess a sincere desire to serve the elderly
  • Ability to read, write and speak fluent English
  • Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public
  • Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel
  • Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level, they are currently functioning
  • Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset individuals
  • Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned to you at any time with or without notice, from Nurse Management or NHA
