Case Manager – Job Summary

We are seeking a
Case Manager
to support clients throughout the personal injury claims process. This role involves timely client outreach, managing case documentation, coordinating medical treatment, communicating with insurance carriers, and ensuring all case information is accurately maintained in our case management system. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and experienced in client service within a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact new clients within 24 hours of case assignment and maintain regular communication.
  • Review case documentation, obtain missing information, and ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate medical treatment and communicate with providers, adjusters, and lien holders.
  • Assist with property damage claims, rental needs, and med-pay submissions.
  • Maintain detailed case notes and update all stages in the case management system.
  • Review police reports, medical records, and evidence; escalate serious injury cases to the attorney.
  • Prepare pre-procedure evaluations and assist attorneys with case preparation when needed.
  • File governmental claims, manage deadlines, and ensure all compliance requirements are met.
  • Support negotiations under attorney supervision and seek opportunities for client satisfaction and positive reviews.
  • Maintain professionalism and high-quality client service at all times.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service, empathy, and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience with case management systems (Litify preferred).
  • Knowledge of insurance processes, medical treatment coordination, and personal injury workflow.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer systems.
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to meeting firm goals.
