Chef / Kitchen Manager

We're looking for a highly creative, self-motivated kitchen professional who thrives with autonomy and takes pride in strong execution. This role plays a key part in menu development, control, and day-to-day execution, with the freedom to create, adapt, and evolve offerings as needed.

Our kitchen runs weekly specials that spotlight fun, upbeat street food flavors alongside elevated twists on classic comfort dishes. Creativity is encouraged—but consistency, organization, and follow-through are essential. You should be comfortable owning your station and your responsibilities, managing your time effectively, and making thoughtful adjustments on the fly.

• Understands menu control, food cost awareness, and clean execution
• Adapts quickly to changes, feedback, and evolving needs
• Works independently and confidently without constant oversight
• Takes ownership, shows initiative, and self-manages in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily kitchen operations
• Create and execute seasonal menus and specials
• Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portioning
• Hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff
• Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with management on menu strategy and operational goals

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional culinary experience
• 2+ years in a leadership or chef-level role
• Strong understanding of modern culinary techniques
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
• ServSafe Manager Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Reliable, organized, and committed to excellence
