Position Overview — Senior Architect
Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking a
Licensed Senior Architect
to lead major retail-driven projects and contribute to the evolution of a highly trusted design practice.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership capacity, enjoys mentoring others, and excels in client-facing environments where design quality, technical rigor, and deadlines all matter.
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and technical documentation for large and complex retail/commercial projects
- Produce and oversee comprehensive
AutoCAD
drawing sets; ensure accuracy and coordination - Manage project schedules, budgets, and regulatory compliance
- Serve as a primary liaison with clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Guide junior staff and contribute to a positive, growth-oriented studio culture
Qualifications
- Licensed Architect (preferred but will consider strong unlicensed candidates on the licensing path)
- 10–15 years
of architectural experience, ideally with emphasis in retail environments - Mastery of
AutoCAD
is required - Strong design aesthetic paired with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience managing multi-site or fast-paced retail rollouts is a plus
- Outstanding communication, coordination, and client-presentation skills
