Estimator

A1 Collision is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Collision Estimator to join our growing team. This role is essential to ensuring accurate repair estimates and exceptional customer service from start to finish.

Key ResponsibilitiesCollision Estimator Duties

• Inspect damaged vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software (CCC, ALLDATA)
• Communicate with insurance adjusters to negotiate and finalize repair approvals
• Explain repair processes, timelines, and costs clearly to customers
• Write supplements and update estimates as additional damage is discovered
• Ensure repairs follow OEM and insurance guidelines
• Coordinate closely with technicians to ensure accurate repair planning
• Monitor repair progress and maintain proper documentation
• Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards

Additional Responsibilities

• Maintain strong customer communication throughout the repair process
• Ensure compliance with shop policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Keep work area and documentation organized and accurate
• Support overall shop efficiency and workflow

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Collision Estimator required
• Parts management experience preferred
• Knowledge of OEM repair procedures and insurance claims processes
• Proficient with estimating software (CCC, ALLDATA)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license
